scoring line of Oster. Scherer and
Greg Snyder were in on.
"The last three games they
haven't been playing as well as they
have during the rest of the season,"
said Exeter coach Dave Revington.
He said the Mudcats were shad-
owing the trio but stopped.
"They are paying special attention
to them."
Snyder had a good chance during
the second period but put it right
over the top of the net. Revington
said the wingers were not doing
their job as far as coming back and
helping out on defence.
"I'm not happy with the way our
wingers are playing and we are not
playing well defensively."
Pikul was spectacular as he made
27 saves, and for most of the night,
he looked as though he was all
alone. In the third period he stopped
Denis Dace on a long breakaway
and while waiting for the rest of the
Mohawks to get in on the play, Pi-
kul made two more saves while
down on the ice.
He won three -of -the four games
against Aylmer in the last series,
and has gone the distance against
Dunnville.
