SEAFORTH - After a 16 -day
search of the area near his home,
the body of three-year-old Anthony
Adam Richardson of Seaforth was

while playing outside his horse by
the Bayfield River. , Volunteers
conducting a ground search discov-
ered the tot's body 300 'metres
south of Seaforth Golf Course
Road on the flats of the river, about
- two kilometres from where tie was
last seen.
Richardson's body had washed
ashore in a pasture and remained

she found tracks leading to the river
bank about 30 metres from their
home. It was here that the boy's
toy shovel was found.

EXETER - An October 1991 collision be -
1 S tween a car and tractor trailer which claimed the
.401101 life of the driver of the car has led to a fine for a
Dashwood area truck driver.
Allen J. Hendrick of RR 1 Dashwood pleaded
guilty to a charge of changing lanes not in safety
in Justice of the Peace court in Exeter last Tues-
day.
The court heard that on August 4 on Highway
21 in Hay Township the accused was driving a
tractor trailer unit, intending to back it into his residence. After
waiting on the roadside for traffic to pass he continued and straddled
the centre line. The trailer half was off the roadway when a north-
bound vehicle collided with the trailer on the edge of the pavement,
killing the driver of the second vehicle.
A preliminary hearing was held in provincial court October 22. but
a ban was placed on publication of evidence.

John B. 3eeiner of Huron Park entered a guilty plea to a charge of
unlawfully auaching himself to she outside of a vehicle.
The court heard that on December 26 in Stephen Township the ac-
cused and another youth jumped onto the rear bumper of a car driv-
ing in Huron Park.
The driver ordered both parties to let go of the vehicle several
tunes but both refused. The driver continued driving with the ac-
cused jumping off near McCurdy school. The second youth fell off
and was treated for minor.injuries.
Bremer was fined $78.75 and given 15 days to pay.

Shane R. Pepper of RR 1 Hcnsali emend a guilty plea to being un-
der 19 years of age and in patisessioni of liquor.
The court heard that on December 28 a youth was riding bis bicy-
cle in }felt l' glen a beer bonne wag throwaalhim ivan a vehicle.
The accused was in the back seat and said he bad thrown the part
boWe of beer at the youth to scare him.
Pepper was Coned 5103.75 and given 30 days to pay.

failing to attend court when subpoenaed. He was given 30 days .w

Michael Rader of Exeter pleaded guilty to aebaige of speeding.
An officer told the court that while operating radar on Fe wary 1
on Highway 4 in t lay Township he recorded the accused travelling

icy statement regarding the replace-

EXETER - The Exeter OPP re-
port a relatively quiet March Break
week, saying they were called to
only 38 occurences of any signifi-
cance.
One of those occurrences was a
break and enter discovered March
15 at a house in Hay Township
near St. Joseph. Stolen was a quan-
tity of cash and jewellery: including
rings and necklaces with a total val-
roe of about 52,000.

The OPP also investigated com-
plaints about a young girl soliciting
donations for a charity under false
pretenses in Centralia earlier in the
month. The incident, which in-
volved a1 least six victims, was
considered a "minor" complaint by
the police but they do say it dem-
onstrates the necessity to check the
credentials of any solicitors who
travel door to door, or even over
the telephone.
