Bullets shot down EXETER - The hockey season came to a shocking playoff conclu- sion for the Exeter Peewee Bullets on the weekend as they lost their Lambton-Middlesex 'A' semi-final 3-1 to the Watford Blues. It was a very succesful season for the Bullets who lost only four games all season. They held on to first place for most of the season but were dropped to second after the league failed to uphold a forfeit by Strathroy. Exeter lost first place not on the ice but because of a league decision to not count forfeit- ed games or games not played. The Bullets Ryan Soldan and Bryon Ellerington had five -point games this winter and the team got a lot of help from atom players, Kian MacDougall, Greg Young, Rob Macintosh and Scott Keys. Goalie John Miners had two shut- outs. Proudly displaying their medals they won in Sarnia on the weekend are Janelle Hern, left; and Kimberly MacLean of the Exeter Figure Skating Club. Hern, the- youngest senior skater for the local club won a bronze medal in her solo in Prelimi- nary 'A' Ladies while MacLean received a silver for pre - Preliminary Ladies Freeskate and a bronze for Ladies Ele- ments.
