Elsie Swan brought home a silver
medal in figure skating from the
Canadian Special Olympics Winter
Games last week.
She skated her compulsories on
Thursday and Friday did her solo.
It is not yet know whether or not
Swan has gained a berth at the
world championships.

straight weekend. the Exeter
Tweens have brought home a gold
medal from a ringette tournament.
On Sunday, Sara Mosurinjohn
and Shawna Rowe each scored a
pair of goals in a 5-3 win over For-
est.
Exeter started the tournament
with a 9-3 win over St. Marys 11.
Rowe had four goals and two as-
sists while Amy Edwards scared
twice and set up three more., Mosu-
rinjohn and Carolyn Quinn also
scored.
Rowe had two goals and a pair of
assists in a 5-2 win over Godench
in their second game. Edwards had
two goals and Mosurinjohn got the
other.
