tance and prizes are very much ap-

Tuesday morning Dr. Ecker pro-
vided tootcare tor Rest Home resi-
dents. Residents enjoy reading the
paper and having that second cup
of coftee in the activity room while
they wait their turn
Rev Van Essen of Bethel Re-
tormed church led our worship ser-
vice Tuesday atternoon and also
served as pianist.
(ltteensway's big day was Thurs-
day as volunteers trom tar and near
came io our Annual Volunteer Ap-
preciation Party. Residents had a
woflderful ume providing the enter-
tai{unent. They felt good giving a
little to the people who have given
them a lot.
Hazel Dacr entertained, singing
"Let Mc Call You Sweetheart' and
"With Someone Like You". Lloyd
McDougall whistled. Edith Bell
sang "Bicycle Built for Two" and
"When You Wore a Tulip'
Mildred Gingerich read a poem
about "Friends". RCN'. Philips of
Varna and Goshen United Church-
es led a meaningful devotional
based on "As You Have Done Unto
to Least of These My Friends You '
Have Done it Unto Me." Lloyd
McDougall, president of Resident
Council, drew for door prizes. Win-
ners were as follows: Chocolates.
Audrey Chnstie. Volunteer T-
shirts, Mrs. Stephenson and Gladys
Van Egmond; Mug, Bob Carson:
Calendar. Mrs. Muriel Carson.
Rose Erb won the Guess jellybeans
in the Jar contest.
