ZURICH - The fust Bean Fest'
val meeting of 1992 will be held of
Monday, February 24 at 7 p.rn. in
the teachers' morn of the Zurich
Public School. Everyone is wel-
come to help plan another success-
ful event. The meetings are shon

World Dayof Prayer
The World Day of Prayer willbe
held on March 6 at the Zurich
Mennonite Church beginning at 2
p.m. It is a non-denornlnal service
and members from all churches are
invited to attend.

gregor gave the children's message

The choir sang "Joy Bells" ac-
companied by the organist Agnes
Bray. Margaret Stewart read the
Scripture Lesson: Jeremiah 17: 5-
10.

SHIPKA - Seven tables were in
acuon at the hi -weekly progressive
euchre held last Wednesday night
at Shipka Community Centre.
At the close of play, Norman
Breen held the high gentleman po-
siuon, with tow gentleman position
going to Emil Becker.
ladies high for the evening was
won by Jim Pickering, playing a
lady's card. Low lady position was
won by Rosie Rader. Most lone
hands for men was won by Fred
Gibson, and his wife Mary won
most lone hands for ladies.
There will be another euchre in
two weeks.
