Zetor tractors,
a hot item at
CG Farm Supply
The Zetor.. tractors are becoming a fast selling item at C. G. Farm
'Equipment Supply in Zurich.
Rick Gingerich of C. G. Supply -is proud to announce they will
soon be carrying two new lines of the Czechoslovakian line of trac-
tors.
The four-wheel drive 9540, the two -wheel drive 9520 will soon
be available for local farmers. Gingerich says both of these modeLs
- are 90 horsepower.
There is also a smaller 18 horsepower garden tractor.
In the six yeas C.G. has been carrying them, the Zetor range of
50-145 hp tractors have proven to be quite reliable.
Gingerich said his excellent service department staff has been ful-
ly trained in the mainiance of Zetor tractors.
Another popular and hard working line C.G. sells is White where
they have tractors in the 60 -190 -hp range, however Gingerich notes
the most demand among farmers is for machines between 100 and
130 hp.
C.G. Farm Supply also handles a line of Yard Man and Ingersoll
lawn and garden equipment. Lakeshore cottagers aiming to reduce
the amount of yardwork they do on weekends away are finding that
buying a riding mower makes sense and buying it close to where it
can be serviced makes even more sense
There are five people in the service department, making it one of
tho largest parts of the business especially since farmers are keep-
ing their equipment running as long as possible to maximize their
realm on their investment.
Dealer servicing is also necessary for handling the increasing
amount of electronics found in newer tractors to make farming
more precise, such as radar or wheel slip indicators.
"We service any brand of tractor." said Gingerich. "I'd say our
service department is one of the best in the area."
A -we11 - parts departukcju is also.a necessity_ for-farniers-.
gelling their equipment in shape for spring pLutting and C.G. Fenn
Supply believes it has enough parts to meet the needs of anyone.
Gingerich is pleased to say that the planter clinic held on January
28. was well attended.
