Fairweather, Haskett lead Lucan bantams Inplay offs
LUCAN - Shaun Fairweather and Chrii Haskell each scored one goal
and set up three others as Lucas boat Dorchester 6-1 in their second game
of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association bantam 'DD' fust round playoffs
on Saturday.
Lucan took a commanding four points to none lead in the six -point ac-
nes which continues in Dorchester Thursday night at 8:15 p.m.
Also scoring on Saturday were Jason Hodgson who fired two tallies with
an assist while Steve Dame had a goal and a pair of assists. Jamie Light-
foot also connected with assists to Tracy Wfitchell and Mitt Munro.
In the series opener played Thursday in Dorchester, it was an identical
6-1 score as Dame fared three goals while Hodgson, Haskell and Rob Hil-
lis also scored. Lightfoot had three assists with set ups from Steve Green-
lee, Fairweather and Rich Gasragozao.
Luca peewees: Goalie Denver England had the shutout and Chad
Greenlee scored two goals and an assist as Lucan beat Parkhill 6-0 in their
series opener.
Corley -Smith, -Josh Appleman, Adam Duakocy and Kurt Hardy also
scored. Hardy had two assists while Appleman, Smith and Seou Thomp-
son also assisted.
Game two is Friday in Parkhill at 9:15 p.m.
Exeter midgets: The first OMHA "CC playoff game was a disappoint-
ing one far the RSD Generals as they lost a alone 6-S ovestime decision to

McCann and then McCann scored from Snell.
Stephen peewees: Jason Glavin had a strong game in goal as the Ste-
phen Sharks beat Zurich b-1 on Sunday in OMHA 'E' playoffs.
Tim Morgan had three -goals with two from Jeff Glavin who added two
assists, and singles by Kurt Mills, Nick Pfaff and Derek Swietzer.
Darryl Parsons andBen McCann had three assists W-hilo Swietzer helped
out with two goals, Glavin had two assists and Wes Regier and Rob Mor-
rissey had assists.
On Wednesday, it was a 3-3 overtime tie as Morgan had two goals for
Stephen with the other from Regier. McCann; John Rotten, Swieezer,Mau
Glavin, Parsons, and Jeff Glavin assisted.
Zurich bantams: Steve Geiger had a goal and an assist but it wasn't
enough as Zurich lost 5-2 to Stephen Township on Saturday. Blair Moir
-had -the-other -Zurigk-goal white -Dwight -Clageiich. Jeff McLaren, and
Chad Ramer assisted.
Craig Glavin, Bill Connor, Bill Hodge, Pres Levier and Brent Gibson
scored for the winners. Jeff.Glavin and Brent Gibson had two assists each
while Lavier and Souban Inlakahana also assisted.
On January 27, Stephen won 5-4 as Jeff Glavin had two goals with one
each by Gibson, Lavier-and-Connor. -Geiger with two, Raymond Skirling
and Gingetich answered *Zurich. -
