the similar style Mike Tyson uses.
The style is called crouching weav-

him [opponent] off guard, 1 get the
power in there."

Shaw san to think whether or not he should be with
the Oilers.
"The last mad trip I was fed up. Almost to the point where I
was going to leave.'
What's this, disgruntled enough to walk away from the
game?
It's happened before, but usually, general managers stop the
chance of a uurcer ending -decision and trade the player.
Wednsiday, yin his first night with the North Stars, Shaw as-
sisted on a goal in a 3-3 tie with the Los Angeles Kings. Ironi -
cally he set:up Dave Gagner, who is a summertime neighbour
lit St. Joseph.
"Ihttew 10 yens here. Five were in the New York organi-
zation and I played junior with Brian Bellows."
With veteran Rob Ramage and rookie sensation Derian
Hatcher both injured, :Shaw is getting a regular shift on the
North :Stas bhteline. Despite not having played in a while,
coach Bob Gainey seems to have confidence in hirer.
"Gainey staid he's going to work me in slowly. He knows
I'm out of shape. I,didn't play for three weeks."
Moving from city to city may not be that difficult when you
are a bachelor, but Shaw's wife Trish and their two young
daughters 3amie.and'Diniel have now had to pack up the toys
and diapers again, this time bound for Minnesota.
"I told Trish the next time 1 got traded I was going to take a
couple of days off and help her."
But unfortunately, when he was notified at practice last
Tuesday in Edmonton, there was no time to make family
plans as he was put on a plane and sent to Minnesota.
"There are some bright spots to Shaw's career right now. It's
his option year.and he says in the sumrtier he'll -be ienegotiat-
ing.his contract.
Mao, no longer is he paying.554ent of his salary in tax-
es, now its around 33,percent. But Shaw admitted when he
was looking to leave Edmonton the tax decrease wasn't that
important.
"At the time of the trade, I'd rather be in Quebec where tax-
es are higher."
Fastban season isn't that far away and the Exeter Royals, fi-
nalists in the South Perth Men's Fastball League last fall are
looking for a coach.
