Fair board preparing for '92
EXETER - Although the Exeter
Fall Fair is still many months away,
the Exeter Agricultural Society met
Friday evening at its annual dinner
meeting to pave the way -for the
1992 Fair in a year when the -Orta-
no Agriculwrat Sacietiei 'are ode-
bracing the 200th year since the
first fair was held in the Niagara re-
gion in 1792. •
Secretary:reasurer Ruthanne Ne-
,grijn confirmed that the 1991 ]Fir
finished up in the black by more
' than $8,000, mainly through the

face of rising costs. Receipts at the
fair were slightly up over 1990, and
grants to the organization from oth-
er sources were down slightly.
