out the window today, ' I
couldn't agree less. It's

I. realty- am. -not a winter person, but if it must be endured,it's
much more fun if it's cold and snowy rather -than damp. and
rainy. It's hard to .skate when -the river is inning; a. toboggan
doesn't slide on a bare grassy hillside; -cross-country -skiing
across mud flats is pretty tough too.
It's so„ -nice to come inborn the crisp cold -outdoors and smell

homemade bread and lots of mint jelly!

"some". If you want a large stew, use "some" -more of every-
thing., if you want a smaller erne use "some" less. If you don't
like onions, use "some" anyway, - a couple of small•ones will
make everything taste better.
Irish Stew

as much fat as you can).

Golden Glimpses
ZURICH - Residents acrd -staff
will both welcome a January thaw,
if we are lucky enough to have
one. Although no one suffered here
from lack of staff, there were some
tfredpeople.
Apart from the entertainment
created within the home such as
shuffleboard, solo, euchre, singing,
cooking and baking, most of the
scheduled entertainment had to be
re -scheduled for a future date due
to severe weather conditions.
Edwin Manepe has returnedfront
Victoria Hospital, London, much
improved.
The sympathy of residents and
staff is extended to the family of
the late Lavine Miller.
