The Animals
Christmas
By Heidi Muller
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
School, Grade 2
In the woods there was a squirrel,
a raccoon, a bear, a deer, a chip-
munk, a rabbit and a bird. They
had scarves on and they had hats
on and they put out a tree. It was
the most beautiful tree in the
world. they made it their Christmas
tree but they thought it needed
something on it so they put decora-
tions on it. They went to their hous-
es and found all of their decora-
tions. They put all of their
decorations on the Christmas tree
and they put a lot of presents on it.
It looked like the most beautiful
tree in the world. When Christmas.
came they hoped that Santa would
find all of the presents because
they loved him. He gave presents
and they left him some presents.
The End.

The Christmas Delay

pher Durdin, Carmeron Britton
and Chauntelle Decharnie
GrandBend P.S.
One morning Santa was driving
to the store to buy toys for the girls
and boys. When his car stopped
right at the store, Santa didn't know
what to do.
He saw a boy and girl. The boy
and girl said, "Can we help you?”
Santa said, "Yes, my car has
stopped and won't go. Do you
know where the gas station is?"
"Yes, we can", they said. There was
a woman getting her mail. Santa
and the two kids were almost to the
store but they stopped to talk to the
woman. "Come with us." They
went to the gas station and bought
some gas.
They returned to the car. They
helped Santa buy the toys and then
it was time for Santa to go back to
the North Pole. Santa had to get
ready for the big night when he de-
livered toys for Christmas.

Once upon a time there was a
bear named Bobby. He really liked
Christmas. He had friends named
Wolfy, Stinky, Skunky and Porky
Porcupine.
It was a week before Christmas
and Bobby couldn't wait till Christ-
mas. That night he couldn't get to
sleep so he decided to make invita-
tions for a Christmas party.
The next day they had the party.
He invited his friends and his mom
and dad. They had a Michael Bear
cake, and played pin the nose on
the person. It was a very long fun
party.
After the party, everyone went
home. Everybody had a fun time.
Everyone enjoyed the Michael Bear
cake and pin the nose on the person
game. Bobby said it was exciting
having everyone over.
The Mouse's Ni ``
Before :Christ as:
By Benji Reaburn
Hensall P.S., Grade 4/5
Twas the night before Christmas
and all through the house not a
creature was stirring except one
small mouse. On a cold snowy
night a mouse was stirring his hot
chocolate. When he looked at his
Christmas tree, he noticed he didn't
have any presents. He looked every
place he could but there weren't
any presents! He ran to his room
and fell asleep. When he woke up
he found a whole bunch of
presents, big ones and little ones!
The mouse said he'd never doubt
Santa again. He opened one of his
presents. It was a brass plated
mousetrap. He got very close to in-
spect it. Snap! The cat next door
was watching, He took him to his
house. Just before he ate him he re-
alized that it was Christmas. Being
in the Christmas spirit he set him
free.

Farm
By Jamie Mason, Jason

Grand Bend P.S.
Once upon a time there was a
family that had a farm and some
animals. One day the animals want-
ed to find out what Christmas was.
They decided to go to the North
Pole. The bull ran and broke the
fence for outside animals. The boy
opened the barn door and all the
other animals got out. They were
ready to start their journey.
After a long day of walking, the
animals were getting hungry and
thirsty. They decided to find a
warm place and some food for the
night. The horse saw a silo in the
distance.
When they got to the silo, they
found out that they had journeyed
in a circle. The family had presents
for the animals and were singing
carols. The animals found Christ-
mas at home.
