Seniors enjoy fail four

SHIPKA - Seniors from Grand
Bend, Dashwood and Shipka en-
joyed a fall colour bus tour last
Wednesday.
Leaving Grand Bend in the
morning they travelled north
through Bayfield, Goderich, Pt.
Elgin and Southampton where
they stopped for a coffee break
and met Gordon and Margaret
Eagleson, formerly Dashwood
residents.
From there it was on to Wiar-
ton, Owen Sound and to Harris -
ton Park where they saw salmon
spawning. Ort the homeward
journey they saw Inglis Falls
and had a delicious supper in
Mitchell.
On the bus from this area
were Doreen Finkbeiner and
Madeline Sweitzer.
Happy birthday to Les Ad-
ams, of Exeter, this week, who
is a former area resident here.
Best wishes to Steven Miller,
son of Earl and Marian, and
Vicki Desjardine, daughter of
Larry and Margaret who were
married last Saturday at Grand
Bend United Church. Their
wedding reception was held in
Exeter.
Ferman and Leota Snyder,
Jim, Judy and Lisa Snyder, of
this area, and Suzanne Plein of
Elmira, attended the funeral last
Tuesday, of Ferman's brother,
Aaron Snyder, at Sarnia.
