HENSALL - It's B.Y.O.B. (Bring
Your Own Blanket) this Sunday
when Hensall hosts its First Annual
Family Picnic. There'll be games,
prizes and lots of fun for kids and
adults alike at the Hensall Commu-
nity Centre from 12:45 to 4 p.m.
Pack your own picnic, or buy
lunch from the Parks Board chefs
who'll be serving up hot dogs and
beef -on -a -bun. Picnic tables will be
available, or spread your blanket in
the shade of the trees.
Among the scheduled events is a
poker rally walk for the Whole fam-
ily, with a grand prize for the best
Video dance - Donna Dawe gets dancing lessons from Scott Fergu-
son at the Much Music Video Dance in Hensall Saturday evening.
The dance, sponsored by the Kinsmen and Kinettes featured a
unique arrangement by which the youngsters danced from 6:30
p.m. with the adults taking over at 9 p.m.

ettes and Kinsmen.
Special feature will be the puppet
show performed by Marion Dou-
cette, followed by games for three
to 12 year-olds. Summer play-
ground staff have promised to bring
back the ever -popular pintata, and
there'll be buttons and ribbons for
all the prize winners.
Other games for all ages include
cards and shuffleboard brought to
you by Three Links Seniors, and
the Hensall Economic Develop-
ment Committee have devised
guessing games that test your Bean
I.Q. Do you know beans about
Hensall? Come to the pavilion and
make your best guess - you could
win all the fixings for some bean
cuisine.
There'll be thrills, chills and lots
of spills during the afternoon's
wind-up event, the Firemen's Water
Games.
There is no charge for admission,
and all events are free. And if it
rains, no problem: we're covered!
