Sisters journey west By Vannesa Cook HENSALL - This summer has been an extraordinary one for three sisters and their aunt. Sisters, Don- na Corbeu of Hensall and Barbara - Preston of Spndridge, have just re- turned home from a trip to Edmon- ton, Alberta along with June Pouer and their aunt, Retia Baird of Clin- ton. The group travelled by VIA train, and were met by Cora Mac- Farlane, another sister, who owns a beach resort with her husband Jim at Calling Lake about 200 miles north of Edmonton. The group also met with other family while there. While travelling towards Jasper, the entourage just missed a mini tomado near Edson. The group also enjoyed the Miette hot springs and a visit to the Columbia Ice Fields. Birthday greetings are extended to Shannon Cook, who will turn eight this week.
