Daniel Kinsman 2
Geoffrey Duckworth, Cheryl Montgomery

Deiran ORourke and Cody Oakes played
well on defense.

The team as a whole played well, play-
ing good position soccer. The best game
played all year and if the team had a few
breaks the score could have been re-
versed.

Through the legs - Grand Bend's goalie, Mike Skinner, stands in disbelief after a Taxandria opponent
slips a ball through his legs for a goal at Saturday's atom soccer tournament
EXETER - Good goaltending
and a solid offense resulted in
Exeter II winning the 'B' tide of
the Exeter Atom Tournament on
Saturday.
Goalies Aaron Beattie and
Adam Regier kept the ball out of
the net the entire game as they
helped their team to a 4-0 win
over Exeter I.
Providing the goals for the
winners were Mark Bilinsky,
Tim Hundy, Craig Overholt and
Ryan Ralph.
Exeter II started the tourna-
ment with a big 8-1 win over
Nairn. Ryan Beattie sparked the
offense with four goals, Shane
Czypyha netted three and Over-
holt scored once.
Nairn came back and won 3-1
before Exeter II suffered a 3-1
loss to Kincardine. Beattie had
the lone goal in that one.
The teams were broken into
four different group and played a
preliminary round before ad-
vancing. Exeter I beat St. Colum -
ban 2-1 and then tied Coldstream
1-1 before bowing 8-0 to Owen
Sound.
Grand Bend came up short 3-1
to Taxandria II and 5-1 against
Owen Sound. Owen Sound went
on to win the 'A' final with a 5-0
win over Kincardine.
