"Mandy and the Magus' is a one
act play written by Brian Trem-
blay which he described as a musi-
cal fantasy adventure. The moral
of the play is you should really
mean it when you say "please" and
"thank you". Mandy wishes to
make her "rotten little brother"
perfect, but after a visit to the
"Valley of Dark Things" she is
happy to have her brother just as
he is.
Three accidents for OPP
EXETER - On Sunday at 1:25
p.m. on Highway 21 in Hay Town-
ship, a motorcycle operated by Paul
J. Johnston, Goderich, collided
with a vehicle operated by Murray
J. Drake of Exeter. Johnson suf-
fered minor injuries and there was
moderate damage to both vehicles.
Monday, on the Hay -Stanley
Township line, a motor vehicle
driven by Shirley Miller of London
Left the roadway and entered a corn-
field. She suffered only minor inju-
ry and her vehicle sustained light
damage.
On Friday, vehicles operated by
Donald Penninga of Exeter and
Larry Baer of RR3 Auburn, collid-
ed on Highway 4 causing light
damage. Baer sustained minimal
injury.
Zurich residents are complaining
about people speeding on Goshen
St. south, in the village. This is a
50 km/h zone. The fine for driving

cadillac in Crediton.

two sleeping bags' from a residence
in Hensall.
Overnight Thursday, persons
stole a propane barbecue from an
Oxford St. residence in Hensall. •
As well, a propane tank was stolen
on Saturday from a Hay Township
residence, between the hours of
12:30 and 9:30 p.m.
Anyone wanting to assist police
with information can call Exeter
OPP or Crimestdppers. Also, as a
note of public interest, the OPP
warns that fines associated with
Liquor License Act violations have
increased.

non 4-H Rough Riders met recently
at Penny Harvery's barn to diaduss
various aspects of working with
horses. Topics included behavior
and instinct, training, grooming,
proper knots and early training
records.
The group learned how to help
their animals get used to strange
objects and practiced various safe-
ty measures for both horse and rid-
er.
The meeting ended with mem-
bers of the club going for a short
ride, and with the decision to have
a trail ride as a fundraiser, with do-
nations being made to the Special
Ability Riding Institute.
