the graduation of Tracey Joan
Oke, from Conestoga College in
Waterloo. She obtained a diplo-
ma in General Business at the
23rd Convocation ceremonies at
Doon Campus on June 22,
1991. Tracey is presently em-
ployed with Revenue Canada -
Customs and Excise, as a Distri-
bution Clerk in Kitchener, Onta-
rio.
Graduates - Lisa Gibbs, !f n -
ton, daughter of Charles 'and
Jeanne Gibbs, Grand Bend, grad-
uated from the Faculty of Educa-
tion University of Alberta on June
4, 1991. Lisa graduated with a ,
Bachelor of Education degree.
She is also a graduate of the
University of Western Ontario. In
September, Lisa begins a teach-
ing career with the Whitecourt
School District in Whitecourt, Al-
berta. Congratulations, Lisa from
your family and friends.
Dean's Honour List - Stacy -Lin,
daughter of Carol and Tom So-
merville, Centralia, graduated
on June 12, 1991 from the Uni-
versity of Western Ontario with
an Horwurs Bachelor o7Arts De-
gree in English. She is retuming
in the fall to continue her stud-
ies in French.
Graduate - Krista Jane Knowles
an honours graduate from the
University of Westem Ontario.

1991. Krista's parents are Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Knowles of Wit
lowdale, Ontario and grand-
daughter
randdaughter of Mrs. Lillian Radcliffe
and the late John (Jack) Rad-
cliffe, pharmacist of Lucan.
Graduates - Janet Lynn McBeath
graduated on June 7, 1991
from Niagara College of Applied
Arts and Technology as a Cell;
fied Dental Assistant. She
placed on the President's Hon-
our Roll in recognition of her
achievement of excellence. Jan-
et is presently employed with
Dr. Peter Agathos of London.
Janet is the daughter of Ross
and Donna McBeath of Kippen
and the granddaughter of Evelyn
McBeath of Hensall and Elmer
and Norene Hayter of Varna.

Crediton couple travels Canadian west
CREDI,TON - Kar1 and Doris Oh-
mayer returned home Sunday eve-
ning, July 7 after enjoying a 27 day
Fettes tour to the Canadjan West,
Yukon and Alaska.
They travelled 8,342 miles by
bus and 500 miles on the Alaska
State Ferry. They visited many
places of interest including Sault
Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, Winni-
peg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Daw-
son Creek, Fort Nelson, Watson
Lake, Whitehorse, Tok, Anchorage,
Fairbanks, Dawson City, Skagway,
Prince George, Jasper, Calgary,
Medicine Hat, Estevan, Grand
Forks, Hurley, Grayling and Fran-
kenmuth.
In Saskatoon they were enter-
tained at the home of Bob and Dor-
othy Lambie who took them on an
interesting tour of the city.
In Skagway, they went on the
Alaska State Ferry down the inside
passage to Prince Rupert, the-Qate-
way to the north.
Among the many animals seen
alongside the highway were moose,
deer, bear, fox, buffalo, caribou,
stone mountain sheep and elk.
Among the many highlights of
the trip were a long walk on the Co-
lumbia Ice Fields, a ride on the
road called Top of the World 4400
and a look at Mount McKinley, the
highest mountain in North Ameri-
ca.

gry and Thirsty".
This coming Sunday, the pulpit
for the regular morning service at
10 a.m. will be occupied by Mrs.
Alma Langford of Exeter.
Plans are being finalized for the
upcoming Vacation Bible School
under the direction of Joanne Pick-
ering. It will be held each morning
from 9 to 11:30 a.m. from Monday,
July 29 to Friday, August 2.
A number of craft items are still
needed for Vacation Bible School.
These include red felt, small baby
food jars, popsicle sticks, two litre
plastic pop bottles with tops and
different colours of tin roil.
