Precious Blood Schools gradua-
tion ceremonies were held. This
year's graduates were Jenny Ac-
tion, Jeffrey Averill, Wendy
Brand, Kevin Coolman, Rochelle
Geoffrey, Darryl Hartman, Scott
lnson, Viengxay lnthavong, Linda
Jacob, Julie Koricina, Cara Philips
and Carli Tiernan.
The following awards were pre-
sented: Mrs. E. Rau, math award to
Wendy Brand. Miss A. Renders,
french award to Darryl Hartman.
General Proficiency award to Cara
Phillips; Most Improved awards to
Viengxay Inthavong and Julie Kor-

DASHWOOD - The annul Fleis-
chatrer reunion was held Sunday at
the Dashwood Community Park
with an attendance of 75.
Greg and Deb Thiel were in
charge of the children's games and
the adult games were conducted by
Donna Hill and Gertie Fleischauer.
Guessing macaroni in a jar was
won by Steve Heirs. Eleanor
Gingerich was the winner of the
stand up and sit down games.
The oldest lady present was Dora
Smale, 91, of London, the youngest
child was Robert Orr, 4 months.
Gerald Tyler Dashwood treated
the children to horse and buggy
rides. The executive for 1992 is as
follows: president - Beatrice Mar-
tin; secretary treasurer - Tim and
Deb Finch; childrens games - Tim
and Linda Gingerich; adult games -
Donna Hill and --Janice -__Stacey;
kitchen committee - Reta Thiel and
Donna Hill.
Ileane Elliott, St. Catharines is
visiting with Alma Genttner while
she recuperates from eye surgery.
Visitors with Edith Baker this
weekend was Bill and Wendy Mar-
shall and son Zachary, London.
Joy Guenther accompanied by
her daughter Mildred McCullough
visited Edith Sunday.
Hartman, Rochelle Geoffrey and
Linda Jacob. Valedictorian was
Kevin Coolman.
Each student received a video
yearbook which consisted of
"Goodbye" songs written by the
Grade 7 students and sung to fa-
miliar tunes by the students in the
rest of the school. This year's oper-
etta, "Virtue and Justice Triumph
Again" was also on the videotape.
The PTA gave each graduate a pen
with holder as a remembrance of
their years at Precious Blood
School.

Fraser Jones, a kindergarten stu-
dent was chosen as the student of
the month of June. Dara Lynn Des-
jardine, grade five, was selected as
the students of the month at the end
of June. She will hold this title until
the end of September. Congratula-
tions to both Fraser and Dara.
There will be some changes at
Precious Blood next year. Both
Glena Tripp and Father Murphy
have accepted new positions. We
wish them both the very best in
their new assignments. We'll miss
you:

viding us with newspaper space for
our articles. The students in the
Newspaper Club benefit considera-

community newspaper. It gives
them a purpose for writing which in
turn encourages them to refine their
written communication skills. It
also gives the school an opportuni-
ty to let the community know hat
we are doing here at Precious
