Fun and games at the Hensall Fair'
Blast from the past - This Rumely Oil Pull antique tractor, driven by
Ken Elder, belched smoke and thunder as it travelled the Hensall
Fair parade route Saturday, Impressing the crowds with its tribute to
the early days of farm mechanization.
As part of Fridaynight's youth talent show at the Crowning - Wendy Semple was crowned by Jennifer Dalrymple as
Clickity clack
g the 1991 Queen of the South Huron Fair.
Hensall Fair, Vicki Ram shared one of her clog dance routines.
Playground - The Hensall Playground staff, who are gearing up for
their summer program, had an entry in Saturday's parade. At right
is leader Amy Neilands with supervisor Jennifer Taylor driving the
tractor. Seated in the trailer is Kristine Pryde.

Tractor pull - Brian Thomson pedals frantically in an attempt to pull
a 50 pound load across the finish line. The miniature tractor pull
was one of several events designed for children at last weekend's
Hensall Fair.
Soft to the touch - Tyler Peny enjoyed the Hensall Fair Friday night when the sheep were Judged.
Band - The Mitchell Legion Band provided the necessary brass and drum accompaniment to the Hensall
Fair Parade.
Public school - Hensall Public School entered their "Eyes on Wheat" entry with pledges to support the
importance of the world's wheat harvest.
