ed. Mary -Jo is the daughter of

Zurich and Kevin is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Ron Drager, Sea -
forth, 'The matron of honour was
Rosemary Ducharme, sister of
the bride and bridesmaids were
Heather Ridout and Nadine
Smith, friends of the bride and
Linda O'Rourke, sister of the
groom. The best man was
Bruce Morton, friend of the
groom. Ushers were Stephen
and Murray Drager, brothers of
the groom and Gerard Du-
charme, brother-in-law of the
bride. After a reception at Hen -
sail Community Centre the
couple now reside in London.

Lovell - Vyhnal
Philip and Vanessa Lovell of
London are pleased to an-

was held at St. Paul's in Kirkton.on
Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Stephen
Emery took the service as the new
rector.
Sunday, June 9, St. Patrick's will
celebrate the Holy Communion
service at 1,1 am. Betty Johnson
will read lessons 1 Samuel 16:14-
2; 2 Corinthians 4: 13-5:1, Respon-
sive Reading Psalm 57. Gospel
3:20-35. Rose Cunningham is to
be server and Margaret Carroll lay
assistant.
Tuesday, June 11 the ACW will
meet at the home of Beuy Johnson
of Stratford at 8 p.m. Roll call; an
article for daily bread. All are to
meet at Hazel Davis' home at 7
p.m.
On Sunday; Mary Davis cele-
brated her 85th birthday with 57

Davis welcomed everyone and
son Hugh asked the blessing. Da-
vis cut her cake and opened gifts

Busy Buddies held their last May
meeting on Thursday.
Jim Davis, president in Dean
Gibson's absence, welcomed every-
one.
Birthday greetings were given to
Eva MacLean and Joan Mohr.
The members were invited to a
progressive euchre match at the Li-
ons Parkview Apartments. Admis-
sion is $1.00 per person.

Sunday to the congregation about
the Thursday meeting.

sale will kick off the year of fund-
raising, Saturday, June 8.

the Community Centre served by
the firemen and shopping at the
church. Children can have their
faces painted and stay for lunch

Fifty years ago under the arch of
maple leaves arranged in the par-
lour of the bride's parents home,
presently owned by Lloyd Willert,
took place the wedding of Dorothy
Crediton
CREDITON - A lame crowd at-
tended the annual anniversary. ser-
vices Sunday morning at Zion Unit-
ed Church in Crediton.
The guest speaker was a former
minister Rev. Douglas Warren,
now of Hampton in the Toronto
area. He served Zion church for
eight years and was here during the
time of union between the Evangel-
ical United Brethren and United
Churches.
Rev. Warren's message was enti-
tled "A Sure Foundation" and he
joined with his wife in providing a
musical number. Other musical en-
tertainment was provided by David
and Kelly Gackstetter of Waterloo.
A time of fellowship and lunch'

maid was Dorothy Rader, sister of
the groom who is now deceased.
The best man was Harold Kraft,
brother of the bride.
Sunday, June 2, Elgin and Doro-
thy's family held an open house
with approximately 200 guests be-
ing served by their granddaughter,
Tammy, Sara and Amy.
Saturday evening their four sons
and their families, Arthur and Ro-
berta, Sara and Jonathon from Ra-
cine Wisconsin, Kenneth, Eleanor
and Amy, Richard, Ross Marie and
Tammy, Dani, Dashwood, Brian,
Rosemary, Joseph and Jacoline, Zu-
rich, took them to dinner.
Roberta's parents from Connecti-
cut surprised the couple and joined
the family diener, ; , : , - : 'r
Following the 'Sunday open
house, dinner for 50 family mem-
bers was served at the community
centre.
