Needham. Our members are invited
to attend the graduation of the class
of volunteers to be held May 29, at
the Strathroy Legion Hall on Met-
calfe Street.
The committee for next week is
Evan Hodgins and Ethel Crouch.
Harry Noels will collect the
forms from participants of the
games and money for the meals and
the banquet next week, May 25.
The meeting adjourned for eu-
chre and crafts. Prizes went to La-
dies High, Mary Scott; Lones, Eva
McLean; Low, Verna lbbitson, and
to Men's High, Murray Carter;
Lones, Dean Gibson; Low, Char-
lotte Barker, playing a man's card.

SHIPKA - A happy event took
place in the Baker family last Sun-
day, when Ken Srs. youngest
daughter, Donna Yarrow, and hus-
band Mike from Calgary, had their
first baby, Emily Sheona, baptized
at Zurich Lutheran Church. Godpar-
ents are Gary and Sheona Baker.
The Yarrows spent last week in On-
tario. visiting. Ken Sr. and Mike's
parents in London.
Gail Snyder with sons Corey and
Colin, of Mount Brydges visited on
Victoria Day with the boys grand-
parents, Ferman and Leota Snyder,
Nadeline Sweitzer and . Doreen
Finkbeiner.
