Chesley student wins lion's share of CCAT awards HURON PARK - The top gradu- ating student from Centralia Col- lege of Agricultural Technology was Dennis Bauman of Chesley, who not only won the Best All - Round Student award, but was pre- sented with nine other awards at Thursday's graduation ceremony. Bauman was the top academic student in the agricultural business management program this year at LCAT, and he also took the awards for Farm Analysis, Soils and Crop Fertility, Best Farm Project (group award), Farm Safety and Machin- ery Management, Soil and Water Conservation, Farm Business Fi- nancial Management, and Agrono- my. Runner up to the Best Overall Student award was Andrew Boyd of Meaford. The High Proficiency in tilt, Foods Technology Program at CCAT award went to Kathrine D'Alessandro of London, with Su- zanne Dumais of Kitchener win- ning the award for proficiency in the Veterninary Technology Pro- f Larry Miller of Woodham won the Huron County Plowmen's Asso- ciation award for being the top Hu- ron student in the agricultural busi- ness management program, as well as the award for Effective Commu- nications in ABM. Miller also won the award for profiency in pork production.
