LUCAN - We must
congratulate five men
on their great bowling
in the National Classi-
fied tournament held at
Arcade Eastown Bowling Centre in
London. This Labatts Blue Light
sponsored competition is made up
of teams of five bowlers, one from
each of five classes for averages.
The Lucan winners were Bob
Smith, class five Larry MacGregor,
four, Dorn Stoddart three, Doug
Smith two and Don Cunningham
class one. The Regional round is
April 6, 1991 at St. Thomas Lanes.
Roll your best, men!
Two winners of the Strike -It -
Rich tournament have struck it rich
in more ways than one. On March
25, 1991, Garry Harvey who won
on November 3, 1990 and Roger
Horuk who was a winner Saturday,
March 23, 1991 will bowl for the
chance at a trip for two to Florida.
Walkers' Black Tower sponsors
this event.
The Regional Round of the Pro-
vincial 5 Pin Team Champion-
ships, sponsored also by Walkers
Black Tower will take place at Pe-
trolia Lanes, Petrolia, on April 21,
1991. I'm looking forward to
coaching this team: Shirley Rees,
Jean Hickson, Diana Leddy, Eve-
lyn Harrigan, Sherri Pickering and
Bonnie Ross.
The Blue Light Open is almost
upon us. This important event be-
gins Wednesday, March 27, 1991
in Hamilton for bowlers from all
parts of Ontario who rolled their
first ball for this tournament back
in December.
In our arca we wish Linda Web-
ber all the best. May your ball roll
down the middle and the corner
pins fall.
