CROMARTY - The Marian
Ritchie W.M.S. began their Febru-
ary meeting with dessert served by
the hostess, Alice Gardiner, assist-
ed by Peggy Kerslake and Betty
Lou Norris. It was followed by the
viewing of the video, New Hope in
Central America, in which the situ-
ations in the countries of Honduras,
Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicara-
gua, and Guatemala, were de-
scribed.
Agnes Lamond opened the wor-
ship service with a poem, "Don't
Look for the Flaws". and the sort -
tune from Exodus 15 was head by
Alice, The offerings for the alloca-
tion, the Leprosy Mission, and the
Fellowship of the Least Coin were
received and dedicated by Agnes.
The roll call, a country in Central
America, was answered by 11
members. Betty Lou read the min-
utes and Mary Elliott gave the
treasurer's report. Ruth Laing pre-
sided for the business when plans
were made for several up -coming
events: the World Day of Prayer to
be held in Staffs on March 1 at 2
p.m.; the annual meeting of Strat-
ford -Huron Presbyterial in Knox
Church, Stratford, on March 26 at
10 a.m.; the Good Friday potluck
dinner on March 29 at 12:30; the
April 9 meeting when John and
Donna MacDonald of Mitchell will

show pictures and tell about their
work in Nicaragua; and the Presby-
terial bus trip to the W.M.S. Synod-
ical By-laws and W.M.S. Goals
were filled in.
Margaret Miller entertained with
a' very pretty solo version of the
23rd Psalm accompanied by Betty
Lou Norris, and the Lord's Prayer
was repeated in unison.
