Brad Brown, Craig Hesse, Steven Forrest and Nathan Zimmerman added 58, 48, 36 and 16 pins over their re- spective averages to give the team 287 pins over the team average. Shannon Wilcox, 9, paced the very young Zurich bantam girls team to seventh place out of 13 teams with a 414 triple and 129 pins over her 95 league average at Owen Sound. Melissa O'Brien, Sta- cey Butson, Ashlee Littlechild and Mandy Smith added 68, 53, 40 and 15 pins over their respective averag- es to give the team 308 pins over their team average. Stacey, just six years old, rolled three strikes in a row in the tenth frame of the second game and ended up with five strikes and a spare in the three games. The two bantam teams were coached by Jean and Ron Dann. The junior girls team of Kristie Palen, Angela Casarin, Roxanne Regier, Lisa Campbell and Leann Consiu, coached by Patricia Palen, finished in third place. Helen Tinney and Deb Smith, representing the Zurich 5 Pin Bowl- ers Association, did not beat their team average in the Hiram Walker Special Old regional and provincial High -Low Doubles Championships Sunday at Hamilton. According to Smith "we were really nervous at first because we had never bowled in an Ontario Five Pin Bowlers Association tournament (O.F.P.B.A.) before, but we had a great time and really enjoyed it" she said. The Zurich 5 Pin Association house round of the Black Tower Provincial Team Championships is scheduled for Sunday at Town and Country lanes with 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. shifts.
