TREASURER'S DEPARTMENT
A Payroll Clerk is required for the Treasurer's Department, ef-
fective immediately.
Responsibilities: To maintain a full range of employment
records for approximately 500 employees, process employee
pay cheques using an In-house computer. Remit a variety of
deductions including union dues, income tax, UIC, CPP, OM -
ERS pension plan premiums, health plan premiums to insu-
rance carrier and joumal expenses to proper departments. Cal-
culate vacation entitlements. Compile and submit T4
supplementaries, T4A's and T4 summaries to Revenue Cana-
da. Calculate WCB assessments for rate numbers. Provide
backup to Receptionist and Office Manager/Accountant as re-
quired, and advise staff on payroll matters.
The 1990 salary rate is $21,367 - $25,407, with an excellent
benefit package. We will be looking for a person with at least
three years experience in a payroll position similar to that indi-
cated above.
