EXETER - A special Grace was
spoken followed by a delicious din-
ner, then co-ordinator Tammy An-
taya opened the January 8th meet-
ing with apoem and Pat Skinner
and Grant Mills led the singing.
Jean Hodgen played the key-
board. Cora Miner was welcomed
back after her illness.
Olga Davis announced that the
Exeter Senior Citizens Club meet
the first Tuesday night of each
month at Exeter Legion Hall. Eve-
ryone is welcome and they espe-
cially nedd new members. Grade
nine students also assisted manly.

Draw prizes were won by Beuy
Humphreys and Olga Davis.

Queensway birthday party
HENSALL - Jack Simmons and
his Swinging Seniors entertained
at our January Birthday Party.
Many residents enjoyed' dancing
and many others had Just as much
fun watching.
Queensway's volunteer auxiliary
presented each person celebrating
a birthday with a fresh carnation
corsage. Birthday greetings to Jes-
sie Armstrong, Dave Watson, Ada
Ball, Greta Harsh and Hazel Daer.
Baking Club was pleased to re-
ceive new muffin tins, cookie
sheets and several new cooking
utensils through funds raised by
resident council and the volunteer
auxiliary. These supplies will be
most useful at our new supper
club, meeting each Thursday in
February. We are having great fun
planning our menus. Six residents
will participate at one time.
Rev. Hawley of Exeter United
Church led our worship service
Tuesday. Everyonefpr iated his
sermon and we were happy to wel-
come several members of his con-
gregation who assisted during the
service.
With Flying Colours a film about
the famous racehorse Secretariat,
was shown Thursday afternoon. It
certainly portrayed the excitement
of the racetrack. We look forward
to attending races in Clinton again
this summer.
