Robyn McLellan of Bradford, On-
tario recently receh ed the desig-
nation of Certified Management
Accountant at the graduation
ceremony held at the Constella-
tion Hotel in Toronto on Novem-
ber 24, 1990. Robyn Is a former
graduate of South Huron District
High School in Exeter and is the
daughter of Ken and Merle
McLellan of Kippen. She is cur-
rently employed as a Financial
Analyst with A. C. Neilsen Co. of
Canada Ltd. Congratulations Ro-
byn from all your family.

Annual meeting
AUBURN - An enthusiastic
crowd laughed and cried, with Re-
verend Roger McComb. guest
speaker at the 4-H Leaders' annual
meeting in Auburn. His message
involved another set of 4 -H's - Hu-
manity, Humour, Hugs and Happi-
ness and he took us on a roller
coaster of emotions.
With lots of ideas for the new
year, the new executive was in-
stalled as follows: President - Dave
Townsend, 1st Vice - Isobel Camp-
bell, 2nd Vice - Don Alton, Sec.
Treas. Janet Webster. Directors -
Sandra Turner, Lavern Clark, Pat
Saundercock, Barry Cleave, Doug
Miller, Kelly Ryan.
Regional Directors - Les Falcon-
er, Donna Hayden, Tom Hern.

was held at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's,
Saintsbury. Reverend Beverley
Wheeler focused her homily on
World Peace.
Parish bible study will meet .at
Jean Warner's home in Lucan, at
1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, January
30.Jean Warner and Mary Davis will
be joint hostesses at the_ Valentine's
meeting at 7:15 p.m.. on February
12.
Exeter United Church news
EXETER - Remembering the Baptism was the message on the Bap-
tism of Our Lord, Sunday, Jan. 13 at Exeter United Church.
Bev Robinson spoke to the children about water and baptism and the
importance of baptism to us, our families and to our church family.
Rev. Hawley's message was entitled A Baptism for Elsie.
Special thanks go to Peter and Linda Snell who sang We are the
world, the senor choir who sang 0 My Love and to Bill Carson who
read the scripture message.
Rev. Hawley will be conducting worship at the Exeter Villa on Janu-
ary 16 at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, on January 29, and
again at the Villa on March 27. Anyone wishing to help with those ser-
vices please call the church office.
There will be a meeting of Senior Fellowship on Wednesday at 2
p.m. and the Gone Fishin' Group will meet on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Crediton_ WI bring samples
CREDITON - For the January
meeting of the Crediton Women's
Institute members brought samples
of embroidery, some old, some
new. Barb Passmore of Barb's
Country Crafts illustrated how em-
broidery can add a third dimension
to a picture, or be used to add your
own decorative touch to a blouse or
sweatshirt. Embroidery for home
decor and as expressions of art date
back before the Middle Ages.
During the business meeting
President Irene Haugh asked for vol-
unteers to help with the lunch for
the volunteer work crew at the
Township Hall on Saturday, Janu-
ary 26. Plans were also made to
help with the Sportsmen's Dinner,
February 5.
As Crediton will host the District
Annual Meeting for WI's on May
16, a committee of Anne Cottel,
Eleanor Roeszler and Dolores Shap -
ton was set up to plan for that
event.
Shapton asked for volunteers to
help plan our part in Stephen
Township's sesquicentennial cele-
bration in June 1992.
A letter from the Federated Wom-
en's Institutes of Ontario reminded
us that June is WI month, April is
Cancer month and that WI should
be reducing the risks of breast can-
cer by being vigilant in breast self-
examination.
The International Organization of
Women's Institutes, the Associated
Countrywomen of the.World
(ACWW), representing over 9 mil-
lion women around the world, is
asking WI branches to focus on
their international objectives during
April.
