Exeter's Dean Fratarcangeli, who played net for the west real- ized they've got a lot of shooters in the east division. Fratarcangeli, made 12 saves and allowed just one goal but the west, including the Hawks and the Lucan Irish, were beaten 6-3. "We don't play against these guys during the regular season and ft sort of gives you a look at what the other teams have to offer," said Fratarcangeli. "Out there in the east they con- centrate more on scoring. It showed tonight, they overpowered our defence. He was making his second straight all-star appearance. Last year it was with Irish. Exeter coach John Kernick was pleased with the way defenceman John Bell, Shackleton and Fratar- cangeli played. "It's for the players to show their stuff in a glorified game. For me it was fun," said Kernick in his first year as a Junior 'D' coach. Ken Needhan, coach of the Irish said he was happy with the perfor- mance of Szabo, Hayter and for- ward Brian Schuyler.
