Good luck to Don Cunningham., Jack Scheurmann, Dorn Stoddart, Roger Horuk, Bill Cornelissin, Russ Dann, Doug Smith, Garry Harvey, Ron Carroll and Eugent Webber. Ben Riley placed second but was not eligible to go on. The ladies bowling on February 3 are Pat MacDonald, Martina Hayter, Joan Scott, Candi Dobin- son, Marion Dykeman, Pat Hod- gins, Louise Hayter, Judy Walters, Pat Morneau and Loma Ellyatt. Becker scored two goals but it wasn't enough as the host Crunchers won the a tion game 6-2. 1 Hensall novice wins tournament 1 HURON PARK - Casey O'Brien scored with just ten sec- onds left in the overtime /, period to give Hensall a 3-2 win over Zu- rich and the novice 'B' championship here at the Stephen Township Minor Hockey Tournament on December 27. In the 'A' final, St. Marys beat Si Marys 4-2. OBrien's second goal of the game came before teammate Jona- than Keys had scored th only 21 seconds remaining in the third peri- od. Nick Regier and Chris Degroot scored for Zurich. Hensall advanced to the final af- ter beating Blyth 5-2 in the semi- final. Keys netted the hat trick in that one while O'Brien notched two ggooaal1ss In another sem-final, Jeremy Geoffrey and Matthew Verhoog scored as Zurich blanked Stephen Township 2-0. Nicholas Regier had the shutout. Peewee The Stephen Township Spitfires advanced to the "A' final in the pee- wee division where they were beat- en 6-0 by Dorchester. In the semi- final the Spitfires doubled llderton 4-2. Matt Glavin had two goals for the winners as Wes Regier and Tim Morgan also connected. In the 'B' championship, St. Mar - ys beat Clinton 3-1 Tyke It was a real shootout in the tyke semi-final as St. Marys got by Ste- phen 7-5. Brayden Lord was the big gun for the locals as he fired four goals with the other from Hen- ny Pfaff.
