ZURICH - Christmas seems to
be in the air as different groups
book their programs to present and
be part of the season. Any groups
wishing to entertain over the
Christmas season should contact
the office and set up an unreserved
time. January. is always a rather de-
pressing month for residents since
all the hustle and hustle is over and
visitors tend to relax at home.
The annual Christmas party
sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary
was held on Tuesday evening
which consisted of several num-
bers of the Residents' choir, also a
duet by Aaron Gingerich and Clay-
ton
layton Pfile.
Jason Erb favoured with some
piano solos and the Gelinas chil-
dren, Marcel, Monique and Stepha-
nie sang . several numbers. Santa
Claus was ushered in to the organ
music played by Grace Martin. Mr.
and Mrs. Santa distributed goodies,
also gifts provided by the Ladies
Auxiliary.
On Wednesday evening, the Hu-
rondale Institute of Exeter hosted
the December birthday party. After
an enjoyable evening of piano and
violin music, gifts were presented,
courtesy of the Ladies Auxiliary to
December celebrants who were
Matilda Bassow, Raymond De-
nomme, Violet Dunn and Francis
Kipper.
We welcome Edwin Martene
back from the hospital."
Some of our residents enjoyed a
bus tour on Friday afternoon, tak-
ing in all the Christmas decora-
tions in the surrounding towns.
Thanks Marc Chalut.
The Sunday evening chapel ser-
vice was conducted by Rev. Larry
Stojkovic of Dashwood Lutheran
church.
