Cook according to pack- age directions. Stir in vanilla. Cov- er surface with plastic wrap; cool completely. Drain raspberries, reserving syrup. Slice each jelly roll into 5 pieces. Line bottom and sides of a 1 1/2 quart (1.5 L) glass serving bowl with all but 5 of the slices (part of the syrup may be replaced with sherry). Place half the raspberries on top and cover with remaining five jelly roll slices. Brush slices with raspberry syrup or sherry. Top with remaining raspberries. Stir pudding - until smooth; pour over fruit and rolls. Chill several hours or overnight. Garnish with whipped cream Makes 8 servings. Christmas morning wife saver Superb! Worcestershire sauce 3 cups whole milk dash red pepper (Tabasco) Special K or crushed corn flakes 1/4 Ib. butter In a 9x13" buttered, glass baking dish, put 8 slices of back bacon, sliced thin. Lay slices of cheddar cheese on top of bacon and then cover with slices of bread. Add pieces to cover dish entirely. Cover bread with slices of bread to make it like a sandwich. In a bowl, beat eggs, salt and pepper. To the egg mixture add dry mustard, onion, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, milk and Tabasco. Pour over the sandwiches, cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight. In morning, melt 1/4 lb. butter, pour over top. Cover with Special K or crushed Corn Flakes. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 350. Let sit 10 minutes before serving. Serve this with fresh, cut-up fruit and hot cinnamon rolls. The Kindergarten class from Ste- phen Central School visited on Fri- day afternoon. Thanks to the class for your banner and Christmas or- naments. We appreciate your visit and enjoyed your songs. The real highlight of our week was Sunday's Family Christmas Dinner. What a joy to be able to in- vite our family and friends to join us during the holiday season. Thanks to so many people who helped to serve and prepare the meal. The kitchen girls deserve a stand- ing ovation for all their hard work. Not to be forgotten there were many other staff who volunteered many hours on Sunday to make the day perfect. Once again thanks.
