Successful bazaar
The Snowflake Bazaar on- Salim -
day was an overwhelming success
with proceeds surpassing last year's
total.
The meat pie table was a busy
spot as over 400 turkey and beef
pies went on sale.
The homebaking, jams, jellies
and pickles, were a complete sell-
out while the sewing and handcraft
table had higher than normal sales.
The country store, children's ta-
ble, U.C. cookbooks and Regal dis-
play were all pleased with their
sales. The Quilter's group was
pleased to have sold two large
quilts at the bazaar. The "Lunch
Room" was kept busy as they of-
fered "Chili" or "Homemade
Soup", desserts and beverages.
