Recycling Week
EXETER - We are now in the
middle of Recycling Week. Let-
ters are coming in to the Environ-
mental Science classes at SHDHS
and the classes arc answering
many relevant questions pertain-
ing to recycling and other residen-
tial influences on the environment.

swered by qualified and informed
students.
Highlighting the local Recycling
Week efforts. is a guided tour of
the Bluewater Recycling Associa-
tion Facilities by its coordinator,
Francis Veilleux. Veilleux will be
at the facility, on Highway 81 at
the old Grand Bend airport tonight
at 7:30 p.m. to show all interested
persons the processes that get re-
cyclable goods from the curb to
the companies that use them.
Please be prompt and the tour can
begin on time at 7:30 Wednesday.

bazaar were finalized and the deco-
rating was done.
Donna Cox, the president,
opened the meeting and Lena
Stokes conducted a worship ser-
vice. The theme was that God
needs us toshare what He has so
generously provided.for us. It is. up
to us to help others.
With Lorraine Neil as pianist we
sang two hymns, Betty Sutherland
read a scripture passage and Lena
gave a mediation. '
In a,letter the Canadian Bible So-
ciety expressed thanks for a dona-
tion of used postage stamps. Every-
one was reminded to continue
saving used stamps.
Margaret Wilson spoke about the
church library and urged the UCW
members to use it.
During the social time Yvette
McGregor served a tasty lunch.
The Christmas meeting of the
UCW will be in the Sunday School
room on December 12, beginning
at 7 p.m. with a pot luck dinner.

PROCLAMATION
Jim Bradley, Ontario's Minister of the Environment has declared
that the fifth annual Recycling Week will be celebrated from
November 20-26. The Recycling Council of Ontario, the ministry
and Miracle Food Mart, the sponsors. of this year's Recycling
Week, would like to encourage your municipality to join in cele-
brating Recycling Week by issuing a proclamation. '

Whereas, the town of Exeter recognizes that reduction, reuse
and recycling contributes positively toward resource and energy
conservation, waste reduction and economic development;
