for the parents to raise their chil-

be dedicated to the Lord.

Winter is fast approaching, and
thus winter driving conditions are
also near. Winter weather puts ex-
tra demands on you the driver as
well as.your vehicle. Have your ve-
hicle tuned up and prepared for
winter. Be prepared for quick
weather and road changes which re-
sult• in snow and ice conditions.
Turn your lights on earlier and slow
down. Black ice, . snow, and brow-
ing conditions come up unexpect-
edly. Please remember and use
good driving - practices. Drivers
cause accidents, not the weather.

HOW. TO SAVE
ON YOUR WINTER
HEATING BILLS.
HERE'S WHATYOU CAN DO.
Set back your thermostat
Use less heat if you can and set the.thermo-
stat back when you go to bed at night or
when you're away from home for a while.
You'll still get a good night's sleep and dream
of the savings you'll be making.
Insulate
Insulation saves energy and money
Check your attic and make sure
that all windows and doors are well
weather-stripped to eliminate heat
leaks. This will also stop cold drafts
making you more comfortable.
Pre -heat check
Before the heating season,
have your heating system ser-
viced and new filters installed.
