For over 12 years, Prestige Pro-
motions has successfully staged
Business Opportuniities Expos
across the country. These shows
have resulted in thousands of Cana-
dians being self-employed. Small
Business Consultant and Show Pro-
ducer, Bob Sinclair, says "Most of
(fie people who come to each Expo
don't know what they're looking for
when they come through the door.
Some are looking for the pot of
gold at the rainbow's end, but most
are just ordinary people looking to
become their own boss with better
control of their future. Over the
years the crowds have changed. To-
day we are seeing more women and
younger • people attending our
shows." London has always been
our second .most successful city on
the Canadian circuit and this year
we. have more exhibitors than ever
before.

Scouts' Apple 'Day raises $245
By Carmel Sweeney
ZURICH - Despite Saturday's
rainy weather the Zurich Cubs,
Scouts, and Beavers still showed
bnough enthusiasm to raise about
$245 for their clubs.
About 90 percent of the money
raised stays with the Zurich Scout-
ing groups, and 10 percent goes to
the district.
A special thanks goes to Du-
charme's Apple Orchard for sup-
plying the apples.
Paper drive over .
There will no longer be a paper
drive in Zurich. The Mennonite
Church Youth Group are giving up
the collection of newsprint, citing
the problems with its collection
and storage. The project was not a
major fundraiser for the group any-
way. Basically, they are giving the
green light for village residents to
include their old newspapers with
their recyclables for blue box col-
lection.
