By Joan Beierling
VARNA - Goshen Church was
filled to capacity on Sunday, Octo-
ber 22, for the Anniversary Ser-
vice. Rev. Sam Parker welcomed
everyone and led in the Call to
Worship. Scripture lessons were
read by the guest speaker, Robert
Elliot.
Everyone enjoyed the beautiful
music from the "Black Sheep", an
octet of ladies from the Seaforth
Harmony Hilites. They sang "This
Little Light of Mine" and "How
Great Thou Art".
When the children's song and
sharing and prayer time was over
the children went downstairs where
puppeteer Marian Douceue from
Clinton had a program for them.
The "Black Sheep" ministered
once again with "Thank you Dear
Lord" and "The Lord's Prayer".
Elliot's sermon was titled "Have
You Put Your Hand to the Plow?"
While the offering was received
the Goshen Choir sang a medley
"Learning to Lean."
Rev. Sam Parker thanked Mr. El-
liot, the "Black Sheep," Miss Dou-
cette, and the choir for sharing their
gifts with everyone.'
