weighing 8 lbs. 9 ozs. My parents Ed
and Gloria VanderBurgt (nee Baker)
are thrilled and very proud because lin
their first child. I'm the 10th grandchild
to Earl and Ruby Baker of RR 2, Strat-
ford, and the ninth grandchild to Henry
and Rita VanderBurgt of RR 1, Dash-
wood, so I know I'll have lots of kids to
play with when we come home to visit.

Valeria (Bedford) Armstrong, beloved
wife of the late William H. Armstrong,
in her 94th year. Loved mother of Lor-
raine and Orville Webber of Goderich
Catherine and Robert Southcott of
Grand Bend and Iry and Lois Arm-
strong of Exeter. Also survived by eight
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren
and five great -great grandchildren, two
sisters Mrs. Evelyn Heywood of Exet-
er, Mrs Frank (Dorothy) Carrel of
Goderich, one brother George Bedford
of Florida. Predeceased by one grand-
son and one great-grandson, two sisters
and one brother. Friends called at the
Hopper -Hockey Funeral Home, Exeter,
on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Fu-
neral service was held at the funeral
home on Friday, September 29th at 2
p.m. Interment in Exeter Cemetery. Do-
nations to the Heart & Stroke Founda-
tion would be appreciated by the Arm-

Maurice Spruytte of Exeter Villa, Exet-
er Ontario; in his 92st year. Beloved
husband of the late Julienne (Vanme-
chelen) Spruytte (1984). Dear father of
Jerome and Frieda Spruytte of Lucan,
Rosette and Lyle Walker of East Jor-
dan, Michigan. Also survived by five
grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. Dear brother of Omer of
Detroit, Gerard and Albert of Belgium
and Mrs. William Dereeper (Julia) of
Belgium. Rested at the Hopper Hockey
Funeral Home, William Street, Exeter.
The funeral mass was held on Tuesday,
October 3, 1989 at 11 .am. at Our Lady
of Mount Carmel Church, Father Frank
Murphy celebrant. Interment Mount
Carmel Cemetery. Contributions to the
Heart & Stroke Foundation would be

liam John (Bill) Ziler, formerly of Ma-
plewoods Apartments, Zurich, in his
87th year. Beloved husband of the late

Dear brother of Mrs. Anita Bengough
of Hensall. Predeceased by one sister,
Mrs. Loretta Zimmer. Also surviving
are several nieces and nephews. Rested
in the Zurich Chapel of Michael P.
O'Connor Funeral Homes. Parish
prayers were conducted Tuesday eve-
ning at 8:00 p.m. Celebration of The
Funeral Mass was conducted on
Wednesday, September 27th, at 11:00
a.m. at St. Boniface R.C. Church, Zu-
rich. Father Morris Celebrant. Inter-
ment to follow in St. Boniface R.C. Ce-
metery, Zurich. As expressions of
