Jason Ainslie and Teresa Viss-
cher were married June 24,
1989 during a beautiful out-
door ceremony at Oakwood Inn
Golf and Country Club near
Grand Bend. The bride's par-
ents are Albert and Margaret
Visscher of Parkhill area and
the groom's parents are Jean
and John Schaefer of Goderich.
The couple will reside in Wing -
ham where they operate Wal-
ter's department store.

Anita Hunter won the mystery
prize.
Helen Daniels became a member
of the Auxiliary and was welcomed
by -all.
A S50 donation was made to Hu-
ron County Community Child
Abuse Coordinating committee.
Three teams participated in Zone
bowling in Goderich; two teams ad
vancing to District level. Three
teams attended zone euchre in Brus-
sels, one team going on to District
level.
Three teams -will be attending
Zone cribbage in Wingham and five
teams will be attending Zone Darts
in Clinton, both in October.
It was suggested we have an in-
side yard sale in January or Febru-
ary, with proceeds for the Sports
Fund.
December 11 was the date set for

Engagement - Mrs. Margaret
Van Dyk, wife of the late Mr.
Ted Van Dyk, of Seaforth is
pleased to announce the marri-
age of their daughter Linda
Mary to Andrew Gerald, son of
Martin and Lil Martens, Dash-

the couple are residing in Lon-

Exeter Pentecostal WM
EXETER - The 'Women Mini-
stries of Exeter Pentecostal Taber-
nacle was held at the home of Mrs.
Milford Prouty on September 28 at
2 p.m.
Mrs. Keith McLaren presided over
the meeting and led in a couple of
hymns.
The Roll Call was taken- and an-
swered by a scripture verse on
"Return". There were 13 present.
In the business, money is being
sent to the Rev. Harold Minor and
Lucan Seniors
LUCAN - The president Hamil-
ton Hodgins was in charge for the
Seniors September 28 meeting and
Iva Hord provided piano accompa-
niment.
Mary Davis read the minutes of
the last meeting. They were adopt-
ed as read. A thank you note is to
be sent to the Legion for the free
barbecue last week.
Marjorie Steeper read a poem on
"Threshing" and also one "Growing
Old". They brought back memo-
ries. We adjourned for games, the
winners being Lila Culbert, Amy
Lee, Mary Davis, Jean Hodgins and
Murray Carter.
Next week will be a pot luck din-
ner at 12:30 noon.

The ladies had a season of prayer.
