David John Delbridge and
Katherine Ilene . Ingram were
married at Hensall United
Church, August 26. The bride
is the daughter of Mrs. Pauline
Ingram and the late Raymond
Ingram, RR 2, Hensall and the
groom's parents are Bev Del -
bridge, Exeter and Kevin Del -
bridge, Grand Bend. Rev. Doug
Wright officiated. Music was
provided by Dennise Batten
and Peter Snell. Maid of hon-
our was Johanna Morrissey,
London. Bridesmaids were Julie
Regier, sister of the bride, RR
3, Zurich; Tanya Delbridge, sis-
ter of the groom, Exeter, and
Tammy Elliott, Orangeville.
Flower girls were Kristin Regier,
RR 3, Zurich, Tamar Ingram,
RR 2, Hensall and Ashley In-
gram, RR 2, Hensall. Scott Bat-
ten, Nova Scotia, was best
man. Guests were ushered by
Mike Veri, Exeter, Scott Pin-
combe, RR 3 Exeter and Sandy
Ingram, RR 2 Hensall.. Ring -
bearers were Tannar Ingram
and Jason Ingram of RR 2,
Hensall. After a wedding trip to
Caesar Poconos, the couple is
residing in London.

Exeter United Church
EXETER - Members of Exeter
United Church began the month of
October by celebrating Worldwide
Communion Sunday during morn-
ing worship. As a part of this
event, the following families were
welcomed into the family of Exeter
United by transfer. Tim and Peggy
Clark, John and Edna Dance, Lorne
and Grace Hodge, Richard and Jane
Hundey, Ted and Ruth Insley, Al-
lan and Blanche Johns, Lome and
Audrey Passmore, and Dorothy
Radcliff. These families were given
an opportunity to mingle with
members of the congregation at the
social hour following the service,
which was hosted by the Member -
'ship and Visitation Committee.
Flowers were placed in the sanc-
tuary in loving memory of the late
Valeria Armstrong by her family
Irvine and Lois Armstrong, and
family.
Rev. Hawley will be leading the
service at Exeter Villa on Wednes-
day, October 4 at 2 p.m.
Thursday, October 5 marks the
next meeting of the Gone Fishin'
gang at 5 p.m. The Caregivers
Support Group also meets . that
evening at 7:30 p.m.
Time Out resumes on Friday,
October 6 after a week's break due
to the P.D. Day. A special invita-
tion to all new "moms and kids" in
our community to come for coffee
and conversation at 9:30 a.m.
Next Sunday will mark the cele-
bration of Thanksgiving. Sunday
School children from grade 3 and
up will remain in church with their
families. On this day, collection
baskets will be available for dona-

USBORNE TOWNSHIP - Hu-
rondale Womens' Institute met at
Usborne Central school Wednesday
evening to enjoy a demonstration of
making bow's and wreath decorating
for fall by June Glavin and Fern
Dougall.
Ann Brodie entertained with sev-
eral piano selections and Lois
McFalls gave a humorous reading.
Members will be attending the
Huron County Rally at Ethel Unit-
ed church October 2 -as well as the
75th Anniversary of London area
Convention held at Cambro com-
munity centre October 12.
Next meeting will be held Octo-
ber 25 at Usborne Central school
with John Miner telling of his ex-
periences in Cuba this spring. Any-
one wishing to attend may call 235-
2747 for a ride.

Sunday with The Reverend Bill
Steadman, President of London
Conference, as guest speaker and
The New Huronia Chorus and Brass
Ensemble as musical guests. Mis-
sion Sunday will be held on Octo-
ber 29 with a presentation by the
Good family.
Last but not least, circle October
21 as the date of the Poor Boy's
Barbecue and Talent Auction. The
fun begins at 6 p.m. with supper -
tickets $3.00 per adult and $2.00
per child - and continues with a fun
auction of talents and treasures do-
nated by members of the congrega-
tion. Call Bob Down, Norm Whit-
ing or Melva Ecker by Friday with
your additions to the auction.
