Letter to
the Editor
Dear Sir:
Re: Terry Fox Run
We thank you for the support the
Terry Fox Run was given by the
paper. Although .we did not quite
reach our projections of 50 partici-
pants, we did have 44 runners in
the event.
We had the best year ever in
funds raised with a total of
S5,030.73 in pledges and dona-
tions. We can still accept donations
up to October 15, 1989 if anyone
still wants to support this worth-
while cause.
Scotiabank won the challenge of
the Banks. We hear Ken Agnew of
the CIBC washes a mean car.
Hats off to the volunteers who
helped out with the registrations,
First Aid and the checkpoint. Your
help was certainly appreciated.
Yours truly,
L.G. Robison
