Marching band - The Mitchell Legion Band were part of what was billed as the largest Kirkton pa-
rade ever.
Missy Kissy is the name of Melissa Griffen's kitten that won first prize for having the longest fur in
Saturday's pet show. Melissa is from near Woodham.
Baby contest - Every baby entered in Saturday's. contest was
called a winner. In the six -months and under class Patty
Spence's Derek (left) was said to have the longest eyelashes.
Barbara Wallis' Catherine (centre) had the biggest eyes, and Bon-
nie Schenk's three-week old Karen Marie had the most hair.
Fair queen - Leanne Bickell, the Kirkton Winter Fair Queen, was in
Saturday's parade sitting on a snowmobile - with Saturday's
changing weather it wasn't hard to recall winter is on its way.
Balloon pop - Cathy Damen from Lucan gives the balloon pop a Bride and groom - The costumes, decorations, and vehicles in
