Missy Kissy is the name of Melissa Griffen's kitten that won first prize for having the longest fur in Saturday's pet show. Melissa is from near Woodham. Baby contest - Every baby entered in Saturday's. contest was called a winner. In the six -months and under class Patty Spence's Derek (left) was said to have the longest eyelashes. Barbara Wallis' Catherine (centre) had the biggest eyes, and Bon- nie Schenk's three-week old Karen Marie had the most hair. Fair queen - Leanne Bickell, the Kirkton Winter Fair Queen, was in Saturday's parade sitting on a snowmobile - with Saturday's changing weather it wasn't hard to recall winter is on its way.
