Bileski wins
LONDON - Deanna Bileski, of
Exeter, won the final leg of the Ty-
son Tour for junior golfers at the
Thames Valley Golf and Country
Club in London Sunday.
Bileski, who played out of Oak-
wood Golf Club in Grand Bend this
year, picked up 86 of a possible 88
points in play on Sunday and beat
over 100 golfers to win.
The Tyson Tour is a series of
tournaments for local Junior golf-
ers played at various courses across
southwestern Ontario. There are 22
tournaments in all and to win the
title each golfer must play in a
minimum number of tournaments.

Hole -in -one - Al Taylor, left, of the Ironwood Men's League recent-
ly shot a hole in one at the par four ninth hole at Science Hill near
St. Marys and after registering his ace was selected to shoot for
$1 million at Ballantree Golf Club near Stouffville Monday .after-
noon along with 50 others from across the province in a special
one-shot tournament. Taylor missed getting the big prize but so
did everybody else' who tried. Taylor used a driver to record his ace.

The Chas Hendy Lawn Bowling Tournament was held on Wednes-
day, September 6 with 18 bowlers from Seaforth, Woodstock, Lon-
don, Lucknow, Stratford, Wingham and Exeter.
Taking top honours was a London rink skipped by Syd Bartlett
with three wins with a score of 53 and over plus of four. The conso-
lation award went to Ernie Chipchase and Marshall Dearing of Exet-
er.
Next Wednesday the Exeter ladies are sponsoring a ladies trebles at
10:30 a.m. Come out. Come out and support the bowlers.
