FALL CLEARANCE We've cut the cost f cutting your lawit Tax will increase hydro bills CLINTON - The nine percent general sales tax proposed by the federal government will also apply to consumers' Ontario Hydro bills. At the moment the company is adopting a "wait and see" attitude about the tax, "to see if it goes through as it's outlined at this time," said Allen. The company's Load Forecasting Department suggested that the tax might have a "slight effect" in the public's consumption, she added. "It's quite possible that if, come 1991, this nine percent is on top of the usual rate increase, people Forthcoming marriage - Cyrille and Anne Hartman of Lucan are pleased to announce the forth- coming marriage of their only daughter, Sandra Marie to An- drew Adam Kobarda, son of Vic- tor and Krystyna Kobarda of London.
