The ladies and some husbands gathered at the United Church to await the arrival of the president, Donna Cox, who was also the bus driver for this oc- casion. As soon as everyone joined Don- na on the bus, the evening of fun and fellowship began. A food stop was made at the Fireside Inn in Thedford, and then the bus moved on to the Huron Country Play- house, Grand Bend, where everyone enjoyed the Rodgers and Hammer- stein musical, "The King and I". Before the group arrived back in Ailsa Craig, (,extrude Rosser moved a vote of thanks to our bus driver, Donna Cox, and to Yvette McGregor who made the arrange- ments for this very enjoyable out- ing. TThe U.C.W.'s next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 12 at 8 p.m. in the Sunday school room of the church. At that time the presi- dent hopes that all the members will return refreshed after the sum- mer recess, ready to get the fall ac- tivities rolling. New members are always welcome.
