A season to remember at Blyth
BLYTH - "This has truly been a
season to remember" says General
Manager, Joel Harris of the Blyth
Festival: "We have now sold over
40.000 tickets (soon breaking last

BLYTH - In October, the Blyth
Festival Art Gallery will offer qual-
ity Art Classes for interested people
aged 12 years and older. The Art
Gallery will hold these classes on
evenings during the week, provid-
ing a wide variety of opportunities
m different media.
The Gallery is seeking qualified
and experienced teachers. Proposals
for classes which may be one eve-
ning or a series of evenings, togeth-
er with a resume should be sent to
the Art Gallery Committee, c/o
Mrs. Carol McDonnell, Box 10,
Blyth, Ontario, NOM 1HO. Sub-
missions will be reviewed by the
Art Gallery Committee. Watch for
details on Art Gallery classes in
Blyth later this fall.

In 1988, the Blyth Festival thea -

overall for the season and this sea-
son we expect to go over the 90
percent capacity mark for the year.
Our final play, The Mail Order
Bride is in rehearsal with a totally
new cast; new set, lighting and mu-
sical arrangements. Special mati-
nees have been arranged for local
high schools and there is a good se-
lection of seats available for most
performances of The Mail Order
Bride.
