It; won't be long un- til the children 'return to school. Then we know that fall is really upon us. We have had some birthdays re - cently. Maurice Spruytte celebrated a very special 90th birthday. We also have some staff celebrating - Beat wishes to Jane Thompson, Dianne Wild and Marjorie Morgan. We were pleased to see the Le- gion Ladies for bingo last Monday evening. It was especially enjoyable since so many of our groups holi- day during the summer. Thanks to the ladies for joining us year round. Our baking groups met again this week. Ladies -in the Lodge made oatmeal cookies for sampling. The ladies in the Nursing Home tried something very different - Black Currant Muffins. Everyone enjoyed a taste of the Currants. We have been treated to some corn on the cob and it surely has been enjoyed. The weather lately has been much nicer for being outside. The humidi- ty is lower but still lots of sun- shine. Thought for the week: The latest wrinkle is hard to take with a straight face.
