birthday also to Florence MacGre-
gor and Percy McFalls. We also
have some staff celebrating - Beat
wishes to Jane Thompson, Dianne
Wild and Marjorie Morgan.
We were pleased to see the Le-
gion Ladies for bingo last Monday
evening. It was especially enjoyable
since so many of our groups holi-
day during the summer. Thanks to
the ladies for joining us year round.
Our baking groups met again this
week. Ladies -in the Lodge made
oatmeal cookies for sampling. The
ladies in the Nursing Home tried
something very different - Black
Currant Muffins.
Everyone enjoyed a taste of the
Currants. We have been treated to
some corn on the cob and it surely
has been enjoyed.
The weather lately has been much
nicer for being outside. The humidi-
ty is lower but still lots of sun-
shine.
Thought for the week: The latest
wrinkle is hard to take with a
straight face.
