some last minute touch-ups, things
are almost back to normal at Exeter
United. With that in mind we are
now working on the plans for a
Celebration Day on September
10th.
As members of the Exeter United
Church family we have lots to cele-
brate and should all proudly share in
the Dedication Service. The Official
opening, the ribbon cutting and the
burning of the furnace loan will be
part of our Dedication Service. Fol-
lowing the service the people who
have worked so hard on both the
furnace and elevator committees
will be hosting a luncheon and con-
ducting tours of the recent renova-
tions. -
For those avid golfers in our con-
gregation, there will be an Exeter
United Church golf tournament at
the Exeter Golf Club starting at
2:30 p.m. Registration forms are
now available at the church and can
be left at the office. As a bonus
Exeter UC
there will be supervised childcare at
the church for those who need it.
Our day of Celebration will wrap
up with a pot -luck supper back at
the church, followed by an hour of
fun with the golf awards ceremo-
nies, songs and talent sharing.
Be sure to take part in some or all
of the festivities planned, you are
pan of the family and let's make it
truly a day of Celebration.
