(32c) PUBLIC MEETING AFFECTING THE TOWNSHIP OF TUCKERSMITH - TO DETERMINE THE NEED FOR REVISIONS TO THE TUCKERSMITH TOWNSHIP SECONDARY PLAN - TO CONSIDER A PROPOSED OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENT TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the County of Huron and the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Tuckersmith will hold a public meetiqgq on Tuesday, September 19, 1989 at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Vanastra to consider the folldWing: 1. To allow the public to comment on the need for revisions of the Secondary Plan for the Township of Tucker - smith under section 26 of the Planning Act, 1983. The Planning Act requires that municipalities provide the public with the opportunity through a special meeting of Council to comment on the need for revisions to the Secondary Plan. This meeting is an opportunity for persons with comments or suggested changes to make their thoughts known to Council. 2. To consider a proposed official plan amendment under section 17 of the Planning Act, 1983. The proposed plan amendment would update the existing Secondary Plan and includes the following: (a) update the plan by replacing references to the 1980 Planning Act with references to the 1983 Planning Act (b) add provisions under Section 35 of the Planning Act, allowing Council to Holding Zone provisions; (c) add policies allowing for accessory residences to establish in conjunction with commercial/industrial property in Vanastra. This will only be permitted where the commercial/industrial use abuts a residential designation and these policies will be labeled cottage industries; (d) add policies regulating the establishment of condominiums; (e) add additional policies to the natural environment section of the plan to allow existing lots designated natural environment a reside (f) to redesignate appr-x mately ..76 acres of land, including an existing restaurant and adjacent to Vanas- tra and located on Pz. 'r; Concession 1, L.R.S., from Restricted Agriculture to Vanastra (Commer- cial/Industrial) - (See atta( map); (g) to,resdesignz.,a certain lands, located on Part Lot 47, Concession 1, L.R.S.
